    3XLQ Hydrocyclone

    APPLICATION

    This hydrocyclone series is the latest high abrasion-resistant, and non-pressure three-product heavy medium hydrocyclone developed according to market demand. Our products serve the chemical, coal, mining and other industries.

    WORKING PRINCIPLE

    The sedimentation velocity of substances with different particle sizes and suspension density is different. The medium suspension entering the first-stage hydrocyclone from the tangential direction drives the raw coal entering the hydrocyclone from the axial direction to make a helicoidal motion. As a result, the materials with high density and large particle sizes quickly move to the container wall. The refined coal with low density is discharged from the refined coal outlet along with the inner centre flow. The heavy materials enter the second-stage hydrocyclone from the bottom outlet. According to the same separation principle, coal middling and gangue can be separated in the second-stage hydrocyclone.

    INSTALLATION MODE

    The hydrocyclone can be installed in four ways. The installation method is marked on the back of the product model and represented by the following letters: 
    PS installation method: two axes are parallel to each other, and the refined coal outlet is in the same direction as the gangue outlet;
    PR installation method: two axes are parallel to each other, and the refined coal outlet is in the opposite direction to the gangue outlet;
    VL installation method: two axes are perpendicular to each other, and the gangue outlet is on the left side when viewed from the raw coal inlet end; 
    VR installation method: two axes are perpendicular to each other, and the gangue outlet is on the right side when viewed from the raw coal inlet end.

    OPERATION

    1. Start-up sequence: strictly abide by the sequence of "adding the medium first and then adding the coal"; the coal must be fed until the density of the heavy suspension reaches the specified value.
    2. Precautions: A. Keep the suspension density stable. The permitted density fluctuation range is ±0.005Kg/L during operation. B. Keep the slurry content in the suspension within the allowed value (30%~50%). C.Observe the vibrating screens frequently during the operation process and respond to any abnormal conditions such as clogging in time. D. Pay attention to the inlet pressure gauge. If the pressure is too low or the fluctuation is too large, respond measures should be taken in time.
    3. Shutdown sequence: strictly abide by the "stopping coal first and then stopping the medium" sequence.

    ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS

    1.Standard configuration: the first stage main body, the second stage main body;
    2.Peripheral components (Optional): raw coal feeding cone; medium feeding cone; refined coal discharge pipe; gangue discharge pipe; raw coal feeding elbow.
    3.Material: the straight section of the first stage is made of Q235 and porcelain tile; the rest of the parts are Chromium-Nickel-Molybdenum alloy Y52.
