EAAH(R) pumps are cantilever, horizontal centrifugal slurry pumps. It is suitable for conveying strong abrasive and high concentration slurries in metallurgy, mining, coal, electric power, building materials and other industrial sectors. This series of pumps can also be used in multiple stages in series.

    Pump selection

    Referring to the performance curve of the pump, the selected capacity range should be as follows:

    EAAH Pump:

    For high concentration and strong corrosive slurry, the capacity range should be 40%~80%;

    For medium concentration and medium corrosive slurry, the capacity range should be 40%~100%;

    For low concentration and low corrosive slurry, the capacity range should be 40%~120%;

    Applications

    EAAH(R) pumps are cantilever, horizontal centrifugal slurry pumps. It is suitable for conveying strong abrasive and high concentration slurries in metallurgy, mining, coal, electric power, building materials and other industrial sectors. This series of pumps can also be used in multiple stages in series.

    The frame plate of the EAAH(R) pump has a replaceable metal liner or rubber liner, and the impeller is made of wear-resistant metal or rubber material. Rubber lined pump expand applications to chemical products handing, several different rubber materials are available to meet different application needs.

    The shaft sealing adopts gland seal or centrifugal seal. The outlet can be rotated eight times at 45° intervals to install at different positions based on vertical line.

    Shaft sleeve

    A large percentage of duties allow the use of the centrifugal seal which eliminates the need of sealing water.

    Gland shaft seal- A packed gland type shaft seal is also available and can be fitted with a low flow or a full flow flush seal water arrangement.

    Shaft and bearing assembly- A large diameter shaft with a short overhang minimizes deflection and vibration. Heavy-duty roller bearings are housed in a removable bearing cartridge.

    Pump Base

    A minimum number if through bolts hold the pump casing to the frame. A means of impeller adjustment is provided in a convenient position below the bearing housing.

    Outer Casing

    Split outer casing halves of cast or ductile iron contain the wear liners and provide high operation pressure capabilities.

    Impeller

    The impeller may be either molded elastomer or hard metal. Deep side sealing vanes relieve seal pressure and minimize recirculation.

    Cast-in impeller threads are better suited for slurries.

    Interchangeable hard metal and molded elastomer liners.

    Mating faces in hard metal liners are tapered to allow positive alignment during assembly and allow components to be easily removed for replacement.

    Hydraulic seal rings give positive sealing between mating faces.

    Extra thick sections at wear point and perfect impeller structure ensures satisfactory performance with long life, and needs minimum maintenance requirements.

    Seal Options

    Packing seal - Most popular type of seal. Clean water at a certain pressure being injected into the packing through the lantern restrictor, preventing leakage form casing. Simple structure, easy maintenance and low cost, suitable for where expeller seal suitable.
     
    Expeller seal - The expeller generate a reverse centrifugal force to prevent the leakage. It can be used for single-stage pump or the first pump of multiple pumps in series when the positive pressure at suction side is larger than that at discharge side by no more than 10%. No gland water is needed, the slurry will not be diluted and sealing effect is reliable, used in where dilution of slurry is no allowed.
     
    Mechanical seal –Less leakage and long life, Suitable for applications where no extra substance is allowed to mix with the fluid being pumped, such as chemical or food industry.
